ABOUT US

DOYLE DESIGN JEWELLERY IS OWNED BY HUSBAND AND WIFE DUO, BARRY & ADDRIANNA.

We combine traditional goldsmithing with a passion for unique gemstones to create bespoke jewellery, ensuring you receive a piece that is both beautiful and meaningful.

Barry uses traditional goldsmithing methods passed down through generations. He has always avoided computer-aided design, believing that a true understanding of design comes from handcrafting. Goldsmithing has been in Barry's family for decades. He completed his apprenticeship under his father, a master goldsmith, in a workshop at the bottom of their garden. This early exposure to goldsmithing sparked a lifelong passion. Barry was also trained as a precision engineer, enhancing his attention to detail, which is essential for this craft.

Addrianna has a lifelong passion for jewellery and gemstones, leading her to study with the Gemmological Society of Great Britain. While she loves diamonds, her favourite gemstones are opals due to their incredible beauty. Addrianna has travelled extensively, building contacts to source unique gemstones. She is known for seeking unusual cuts and colours, adding uniqueness to Doyle Design's pieces. Her attention to detail and ability to connect with the customer during the design process ensures that every piece becomes a wearable work of art.

WE ESTABLISHED OUR JEWELLERY DESIGN STUDIO SO THAT WE COULD SHARE THIS WONDERFUL CREATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH OUR CUSTOMERS. THIS IS NO ORDINARY JEWELLERY STORE, WE HAVE SPENT 25 YEARS CREATING A WARM AND WELCOMING SPACE WHERE OUR CUSTOMERS CAN MEET THE MAKERS, SEE WHERE THE JEWELLERY IS MADE, UNDERSTAND THE INSPIRATION BEHIND OUR DESIGNS AND DISCUSS NEW BESPOKE CREATIONS WITH US.

OUR LOCATION GEORGE'S ST ARCADE

OUR JEWELLERY STUDIO & SHOP IN DUBLIN

We are located in a loft studio within the historic George’s St Arcade, Dublin's first Victorian shopping centre, built in 1881. Designed by British architects Lockwood & Mauson, the arcade features stunning architecture that requires a moment to stand back and admire. Our original loft studio is about halfway down on the right from the George’s Street entrance. In 2019, we expanded to include a ground-floor shop, offering convenient displays at the entrance. However, a visit upstairs to our studio provides the full experience of our craftsmanship.
